TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms cover services and contributions to microscopIA. An invoice may reference them, but does not replace explicit acceptance. They apply together with the relevant service module and accepted written offer. Mandatory legal rights remain protected.

GENERAL TERMS
microscopIA services are supplied by the legal entity identified in the written offer and invoice. The offer must state its legal name, address, contact details, service scope, price, applicable taxes, currency and payment schedule. A public inquiry or simulation is not a contract or an obligation to pay.
Before contracting or payment, the customer must actively accept the applicable terms and service module. We record the version, service, server date and time, and a transaction or acceptance reference. An unchecked box is never treated as acceptance. Material changes require renewed acceptance for future work; existing agreements are not changed retroactively.
Payment is due only under an accepted written offer. Fees, milestones and any third-party costs must be disclosed before payment. Refunds are assessed against undelivered services, work actually authorized and performed, the accepted cancellation policy and mandatory consumer rights. No blanket non-refundable rule overrides the law. For duplicate, disputed or incorrect charges contact finance@microscopiatech.com.
For appointment services, the booking offer must disclose the cancellation window, any late-cancellation charge and the permitted rescheduling options before payment. Where the booking provider enables it, use the secure Manage booking or Reschedule link in your confirmation to change the appointment directly. Otherwise request assistance through Contact. If microscopIA cancels, request an alternative appointment or a refund for the undelivered service. Project termination is governed by the signed milestone agreement and applicable law.
The Privacy Policy explains personal-data handling. Public forms must not receive patient identifiers, clinical source files or raw research datasets. Institutional consent, ethics review where applicable, security, access, retention and lawful transfer must be established before research data is shared. Research or data-sharing agreements define permitted purposes; data is not a substitute payment commodity.
Background IP remains with its owner unless expressly licensed or assigned. New IP, inventorship, use rights, publication review and any commercial participation are defined in the written agreement. Authorship depends on qualifying contribution and accountability; payment does not purchase authorship. No publication, impact, clinical outcome or regulatory approval is guaranteed.
Each party must provide accurate authorized information, meet agreed responsibilities and promptly report problems. Services must be used only within the agreed purpose and safeguards. Any project-specific limitation of liability must be expressly agreed and lawful; nothing excludes liability or remedies that applicable law does not permit excluding.
Submit service complaints through Contact and financial discrepancies to finance@microscopiatech.com, identifying your reference and requested resolution without sending card details or sensitive research data. We will review the record and seek a documented resolution. Governing law and dispute mechanisms must be stated in the accepted offer without removing mandatory consumer protections.
SERVICE MODULES
Participation requires active membership where specified, eligibility review and a project-specific agreement. Participation does not guarantee assignment, authorship, certification, employment or publication. Responsibilities, access, supervision and withdrawal arrangements are agreed before work. Contributions and publication rights follow research integrity standards.

Data-sharing and research agreements define permitted use, access, retention, security, publication and institutional authorization. No journal decision or finding is guaranteed.

Background IP, foreground ownership, actual inventorship, licensing, economic participation and publication rights require a written agreement before the relevant work. Human validation requires applicable approvals and consent.

Teaching is educational and does not confer a professional licence, degree, clinical authorization or guaranteed proficiency. Recordings require explicit authorization.

Sessions do not provide patient-specific medical advice or guarantee examination results. Use fictional or sufficiently de-identified teaching scenarios.
