Terms of use

Terms for using the public microscopIA website.

Effective 4 August 2026. Project, education, booking, membership, employment, and collaboration relationships are governed by their specific accepted terms and agreements.

Website purpose

Information and pathways—not medical care or a contract by itself.

Using the website does not create a clinical, employment, research, educational, partnership, or service relationship. Those arise only through explicit acceptance and, where applicable, signed agreements.

01

No medical advice

Content, AI guidance, simulations, research summaries, and device information do not diagnose, treat, prescribe, refer, or replace emergency or professional care.

02

Accuracy and updates

microscopIA aims for current, clear information but services, projects, prices, deadlines, team availability, and external records may change. Controlled pages and signed agreements prevail.

03

Research and publication

Eligibility, feasibility, ethics, data quality, capacity, journal review, and independent editorial decisions apply. Publication, acceptance, authorship, or specific outcomes are never guaranteed.

04

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site, defeat security, submit unlawful or infringing material, impersonate others, scrape restricted data, or upload patient identifiers, clinical databases, credentials, malware, or unnecessary sensitive data.

05

Intellectual property

Site design, original text, marks, and materials remain with their rights holders. Project-specific background IP, results, software, devices, datasets, manuscripts, and licences are addressed in the relevant agreement.

06

External services

Wix, Jotform, Google Calendar/Drive, course hosts, journals, publishers, and other external services apply their own terms and privacy practices. Links do not imply endorsement.

07

Liability boundary

To the extent permitted by law, the public site is provided for information and microscopIA is not responsible for decisions made without appropriate professional assessment or for independent third-party services.

08

Law, changes, and contact

Applicable mandatory law governs. Project contracts identify jurisdiction and dispute terms. Material website-term changes are dated here; questions go through Contact.
