Global Pediatric Cancer Observatory
Mapping services and specialists to understand access to childhood cancer diagnosis and treatment and inform referral networks.
Explore projects across Colombia and the Americas.
MICROSCOPIA PROGRAMS
Explore four global observatories, the mental health program and research support for low-income economies. See the evidence, collaborate or support the work.
LIVING SCIENTIFIC INITIATIVES
Each initiative connects a defined problem, methods, accountable scientific governance, Evidence, collaboration opportunities and a responsible support pathway.
Mapping services and specialists to understand access to childhood cancer diagnosis and treatment and inform referral networks.
Explore projects across Colombia and the Americas.
Connect four research lines: real-world prophylaxis evaluation; access to specialists for screening, treatment or both; investigational AI; and neonatal eye-care device innovation.
Maps distinguish verified, modeled and missing data. Trials require their own ethics and regulatory approvals.
Map global adult, pediatric, neonatal and burn critical-care capacity and specialist access; develop collaborative trials and real-world evidence for health-system decisions.
Published evidence identifies its source and scientific status. Planned trials are not presented as completed research.
Compare the costs, outcomes and uncertainty of clinical and health-system options. Economic evaluation and simulation make investment trade-offs explicit; inspect each model’s methods, assumptions and stage.
Examine methods and assumptions before applying a model.
An initiative of the microscopIA Department of Global Health and Philanthropy. Explore access to psychological care and the current pilot, subject to clinical scope and local authorization.
Telemedicine is not emergency care; privacy, consent, clinician identity, jurisdiction and escalation requirements apply.Project-level scientific support for eligible researchers and innovators in low-income economies. Selection depends on scientific value, feasibility, ethics, data readiness and capacity.

GOVERNMENTS, INSTITUTIONS & COMMUNITIES
Work with microscopIA on access evaluation, capacity planning, economic analysis, evidence synthesis or program evaluation. Agree the decision question, methods, data, deliverables and timetable.
Possible outputs include access-gap maps, investment scenarios, decision briefs and monitoring protocols. Each engagement defines procurement requirements, independence, data permissions and implementation responsibilities.
Discuss a collaboration →Describe the aim, population and geography, unmet need and proposed scientific contributors and steering-committee expertise. Include expertise, methods, expected outputs, partners, resources, funding needs and timeline.
Prepare an email proposal →Jorge Racedo · Chief Executive Officer
