BUILD YOUR RESEARCH GROUP

An agenda you lead. A proposal we can evaluate.

Email your group proposal to Jorge Racedo, Managing Director. Include all five elements below and attach the proposed director’s updated CV.

  1. The group

Proposed name, scientific focus, aim and the health or research need it addresses.

  2. The proposed director + CV

Name, role, institution/country, relevant expertise, leadership experience and availability to supervise. Attach an updated CV. You may propose yourself.

  3. The research program

Research lines, priorities, intended impact and an initial work plan. State the team, technical support and funding you need.

  4. At least 3 distinct projects

Each should address a distinct question. Include title, aim, design, population/data source, stage, outputs, proposed PI and roles, timeline, permissions and resources needed. Planned projects are welcome.

  5. The member-recruitment plan

Propose roles, places, qualifications, location restrictions if applicable, language, weekly availability and transparent selection criteria. Explain training, supervision and proposed call dates.

When can calls for group members open?

After microscopIA approves the group’s structure in writing and agrees the recruitment plan with its proposed director. Calls must define who can apply, available roles, selection criteria, expected commitment and how applications are reviewed.

  • An accountable director, supervision and training capacity.
  • Defined project roles, feasible workload, agreed resources and a selection process.
  • Any participation or membership terms disclosed before enrollment; authorship follows actual contributions.
  • Project-specific scientific approval and applicable ethics, institutional and data permissions before the corresponding research activities.

The button opens an editable email template. Attach the CV before sending. If your email app does not open, use the address and checklist above. Send a non-identifiable summary; keep confidential records out of the initial email.

Next: Jorge reviews the proposal with you. Group structure, director responsibilities, recruitment, resources and agreements are confirmed before launch. Each project follows its own approval pathway.
