MICROSCOPIA RESEARCH GROUP

General and Oncologic Critical Care

A sustained scientific agenda, expert supervision and shared execution capacity.

Before you apply

Colombian citizens or residents · Spanish

Active membership · Scientific selection · Capacity-dependent

Membership permits an application; it does not reserve a place, staff or authorship. The lead agrees supervision, roles and resources before work starts.

FIND THE RIGHT SCOPE

Turn your expertise into a defined contribution.

A group sustains an agenda and brings expertise together. A project has a question, defined tasks and outputs. An institutional agreement sets resources and responsibilities between organisations.

01

Join a group

For active paid members with scientific fit. Share your profile and interests; admission depends on the lead, supervision and available capacity.

02

Contribute to a project

Check project tasks, language and dates. An external route exists only where the call explicitly permits it.

03

Collaborate through an institution

Propose a question or complementary capability. Methods, contributions, data, budget, intellectual property and output review are agreed.

An affiliated researcher does not automatically represent their institution. Membership does not grant authorship or automatic access to restricted data.

HOW AN AGENDA BECOMES WORK

A scientific team, with clear responsibilities.

A sustained agenda

A group brings people together around related questions. An observatory organizes a thematic programme and its projects; an individual proposal needs its own evaluation.

A defined contribution

The lead reviews fit, preparation, languages and supervision capacity. Roles, time commitment, deliverables and follow-up are agreed before execution.

A verifiable record

Activity is evidenced through documented projects, contributions and outputs. Membership, group admission and authorship are assessed separately.

What should I know before applying?
  • Check each group’s nationality or residency and language requirements.
  • Share your profile, skills, interests and realistic availability. Admission depends on the lead’s evaluation and team capacity.
  • Each study must document its protocol, responsible investigator, applicable permissions and ethics review, data use, conflicts and contribution criteria.
  • Only outputs with a verified relationship should be presented as group production. An individual’s prior experience does not establish a group output.

Build a research group with microscopIA

Bring scientific leadership and a sustained research program. We review the proposal, required resources and recruitment plan before agreeing the group’s scope.

  1. Proposed group name, purpose and scientific priorities.

  2. Proposed leader’s CV, relevant expertise and supervision capacity.

  3. At least three distinct projects: question, design, data sources, permissions, timeline and expected outputs.

  4. Member recruitment: roles, places, qualifications, languages, weekly commitment and selection criteria.

  5. Resources requested, existing support, conflicts of interest and proposed data and intellectual-property arrangements.

Applications to join established groups are open throughout the year to active members, subject to fit and capacity. Group approval does not automatically approve its projects.
