Offer, price and your agreement

Before payment or registration, the offer must identify the contracting provider, contact, activity, facilitator, language, format, dates and time zone, prerequisites, capacity, total price, currency, taxes, included materials and certificate criteria. The accepted specific offer and these terms apply alongside /terms and /terms/stripe. Mandatory legal rights prevail; an unclear or conflicting offer must be clarified before purchase.

Current course and included access

The published 2026 course is Applied Biostatistics and Clinical Data Analysis, taught in English using JMP by Jorge Racedo, from October 1 to December 15, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 19:00–21:00 Colombia time, according to the confirmed calendar. The published price is USD 7.50 per session; eligible Research & Career Elite members have included access. Confirm the actual session list before purchase; a promotional total-hour figure does not replace the dated calendar. Required JMP access or licensing must be arranged as disclosed; do not assume a software licence is included.

Materials, recordings and assessed certificate

Corresponding learning materials are provided to enrolled participants. Course recordings are an Elite benefit and are made available within 48 hours; enrollment at the per-session rate does not automatically include recordings. The current assessed-completion certificate requires at least 90% in one supervised practical examination attempt. Three examination slots are announced between December 16 and 20, 2026; choose one confirmed slot. Attendance alone does not earn this certificate. Technical failure attributable to the provider must receive a fair remedy rather than an automatic failed attempt. Any accommodation or change to assessment criteria is documented before the examination.

Registration, cancellation and rescheduling

Register at least 48 hours before the activity, subject to available places. Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the start through My Activities or My Booking, subject to available alternatives; contact contact@microscopiatech.com if account controls fail. A late cancellation or absence can forfeit the reserved place or paid activity only if disclosed, accepted and lawful. Do not impose a new penalty after purchase. Exceptional circumstances receive an individual review. Statutory withdrawal, refund and payment-dispute rights remain intact.

Provider changes and non-delivery

If microscopIA cancels, substantially changes or cannot deliver a paid activity, offer a suitable replacement or an appropriate refund for the undelivered service; do not force credit as the only remedy when a refund is due. Notify participants promptly of schedule or facilitator changes. A platform failure attributable to the provider must not automatically be marked as participant absence. Educational scope and certification

Activities are educational simulations or training, not patient care, clinical supervision, a professional licence, degree or official examination credit. Exam-style scenarios do not imply endorsement by an examining body. Certificates describe only verified attendance or the stated assessment achievement. No examination, employment, language-proficiency or publication outcome is guaranteed. Never rely on a simulated case as the sole basis for treating a patient.

Conduct, access and safe participation

Use your own account and meet the stated prerequisites. Request accessibility accommodations before registration; discuss feasible alternatives without unnecessary sensitive disclosures. Minors require suitable guardian consent and safeguarding arrangements. Harassment, discrimination, threats, impersonation, cheating and unauthorized recording are prohibited. A proportionate safety suspension may be necessary, with reasons and a review opportunity where safe and feasible; reporting a concern is not misconduct.

Confidentiality, recordings and learning materials

Use fictional or lawfully de-identified teaching material. Never disclose patient identifiers, records or confidential institutional information in activities, chat or public forms. Attendance, assessment and booking data are processed under /privacy for delivery and administration. Recording requires prior informed permission and disclosed access, purpose and retention; publicity, research and AI training need separate lawful authorization. Do not copy or redistribute case banks, recordings or other participants’ contributions beyond the agreed personal-learning licence. You retain rights in your original work; no unrelated commercial transfer is presumed.

Complaints, rights and version

For access, quality, conduct or privacy concerns contact contact@microscopiatech.com; for payment issues contact finance@microscopiatech.com. Include a booking reference, not sensitive records. microscopIA must address complaints within applicable legal deadlines and explain the proposed remedy. These terms do not exclude negligence or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, require waiver of consumer rights, or prevent recourse to competent authorities. Material future changes require notice; the accepted version and date must be recorded and retained.
