Choose a defined plan

Before subscribing, review the legal provider, plan name, eligibility, price, currency, taxes, billing cycle, renewal, benefits, limits, start date and cancellation route. These terms do not set a price or create access to every service. Trial periods, scholarships, discounts and association benefits apply only if expressly stated.

Membership is personal unless a written institutional plan states otherwise. Keep account information accurate and credentials private. Membership is not employment, a professional licence, insurance or a promise of project assignment, publication or authorship.

Active membership during projects

Join a Project participants must maintain an active, paid membership throughout their agreed project participation, unless an approved written scholarship or exemption applies. Membership receipts are reinvested to support staff salaries, scientific coordination and publication fees; they do not purchase authorship or guarantee that every external publication cost is included.

The project agreement must define the participation period and expected duration, completion or withdrawal process, included costs and any separately approved fees. Research timelines may change. Continued membership is not an undisclosed unlimited financial commitment: participants may withdraw and cancel future renewal, subject to safe handover and preservation of earned scientific credit.

Non-payment, suspension and reinstatement

If membership expires, is cancelled with immediate effect or payment remains unpaid when due, participation and member-only access are suspended. Turning off renewal does not remove access already paid for before the paid period ends. We notify the participant of the reason, effective date, balance if any, correction route and project implications; an offer-specific grace period applies only if expressly provided.

During suspension, do not access restricted data, label new cases or represent yourself as an active project participant. Notify the supervisor and securely hand over pending work. Reinstatement requires resolving the payment or eligibility issue and confirmation by the team; the original task or slot may no longer be available. Report payment errors promptly for review. Suspension cannot erase qualifying contributions or prevent legally required access to personal records.

Renewal, cancellation and changes

Recurring billing requires explicit authorization of the disclosed schedule. Cancel through the available account or processor management link, or contact finance@microscopiatech.com. Keep confirmation. Cancelling renewal stops future billing after the current period; it does not itself refund a period already supplied. Refunds and withdrawal rights follow applicable law and /terms/stripe.

No material reduction in paid benefits or retrospective price increase is imposed without an appropriate remedy. Changes to future periods are notified before renewal, with an opportunity to decline. A service interruption attributable to microscopIA is reviewed for restoration, extension, replacement or an appropriate refund.

Conduct, privacy and fair review

Respect confidentiality, institutional permissions, supervision and research integrity. Do not share accounts, harass others, fabricate results or upload unauthorized patient data. A serious safety or security risk may require immediate restricted access while the matter is reviewed. Where feasible, explain the reason and allow a response; an administrative complaint is not itself misconduct.

Confidentiality and approved retention duties survive cancellation. Personal data follow /privacy; clinical information requires a separate secure clinical process. Complaints go to contact@microscopiatech.com and financial disputes to finance@microscopiatech.com. Mandatory consumer rights and non-excludable liability remain intact.
