Privacy notice

Clear boundaries for personal, member, applicant, and research data.

Effective 4 August 2026. This notice describes the website layer; every governed research project also requires its own documented data arrangements.

Controller and scope

microscopIA S.A.S. is responsible for the website processing it determines.

This notice covers enquiries, accounts, bookings, education, job applications, network-directory consent, analytics, and support. It does not authorize transfer of patient-level data through ordinary site forms.

01

Data we may collect

Identity and contact details, organisation and role, language, account events, bookings, application materials, consent choices, support messages, and limited technical/security logs.

02

Purposes and legal basis

Respond to requests, assess proposals and applications, deliver contracted or requested services, manage accounts and bookings, maintain security, comply with law, and publish directory profiles only with appropriate consent.

03

Research and health data

Never submit identifiable patient data or clinical databases through public forms, chat, education, careers, or the member dashboard. Approved research uses a separate minimised, encrypted, role-controlled process under ethics, institutional authority, and contract.

04

Sharing and international access

Access is limited to authorized service providers and team members who need it. Cross-border access or hosting is assessed and documented with appropriate safeguards; microscopIA does not sell personal data.

05

Retention and security

Records are kept only as long as needed for the stated purpose, legal obligations, disputes, or approved research governance. Controls include least privilege, strong authentication, encryption where appropriate, logging, backups, and incident response.

06

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or directory removal through Contact. Applicants may request reasonable accommodation without disclosing unnecessary health information.

07

Children and vulnerable people

General professional content may be viewed broadly, but the site must not be used to submit a child’s or patient’s information. Where a minor joins education, guardian authorization and safeguarding are applied when required.

08

Updates and contact

Material changes will be dated here. Use the Contact page for privacy requests; identity may be verified proportionately before a request is fulfilled.

Privacy request

Ask a question or exercise an applicable data right.

microscopIA routes each request to the most appropriate team and next step.
