Participants do substantive work under clear supervision, with limited meetings and an organised workload.
Understand the question, protocol, milestones, authorship framework, and confidentiality duties.
Contribute to review, data quality, analysis, interpretation, visualisation, or manuscript development.
Receive structured feedback and revise work until it meets the project standard.
Join finalisation, submission, and revisions when documented contribution supports authorship.
Selection & expectations
Transparent regional pricing
Standard terms are 50% at enrolment and 50% if the manuscript is accepted. Fees support coordination, supervision, operations, and publication costs; they do not purchase authorship.
Colombia: Colombian nationals residing in Colombia who apply by day 10. Americas: residents of other countries in the Americas who apply by day 10. Eligibility and the project-specific price are confirmed in writing before payment.
Publication terms
microscopIA coordinates submission and covers eligible article processing charges. Journal acceptance remains outside microscopIA's control.
Whenever scientifically appropriate, the team posts a preprint. Participants who complete the project and journal submission receive a certificate signed by senior experts.

No. Fees support the supervised experience and research operations. Authorship requires documented contribution, final-manuscript approval, and accountability.
Yes, when capacity and performance support it, but no participant may work on more than two projects at once.
Feedback and a reasonable correction opportunity are provided. Persistent quality, integrity, professionalism, or deadline problems may end participation.
Assignments should not exceed five hours per week. Teams self-manage and schedule only necessary meetings.
Participants who complete their responsibilities may request another opportunity, subject to fit, quality, and capacity.
