Initial project
Design and 3D-print affordable prosthetic prototypes for amputees affected by armed conflict. microscopIA provides the 3D printer. Direct supervisor: Jorge Racedo.
Contract and capacity
Six-month professional-services agreement, with an agreed capacity of 20 hours per week. No rigid daily schedule; assessment focuses on deliverables, quality and results. Delivery must preserve contractor autonomy and comply with applicable law.
Professional fees
COP 3,000,000 monthly base plus a fixed COP 500,000 linked to the health-coverage arrangement agreed in writing. This notice does not require a prepaid medical plan. Any specific condition requires legal review and does not replace statutory social-security obligations.
Performance incentive
Up to COP 2,000,000 per month. Objectives, evidence, thresholds and assessment criteria are communicated at the beginning of each month. Awards are assessed under those criteria and the written agreement; the maximum is not guaranteed.
Project continuity
If the initial project finishes early, another project will be assigned within the six-month term, aiming for one principal project at a time with an agreed scope and deliverables.
Ethics and validation
Any adult or pediatric patient validation requires prior applicable ethical, regulatory and institutional approvals, consent and safety controls. Prototypes are not represented as devices authorized for clinical use.
Inventorship and intellectual property
Inventors are recognized according to actual inventive contribution and applicable law. A possible 5–10% economic participation in IP commercialization requires a prior written agreement defining calculation basis, criteria, duration and conditions; it is not awarded retrospectively at sole discretion.
Professional development
Excellent performance after six months may lead to an offer of indefinite employment, with salary, hours and responsibilities renegotiated. This transition is not guaranteed.
