CORE TERMS
Protect project information, credentials, unpublished findings, partner information, and any permitted data. Use information only for the assigned purpose and report incidents promptly.
Follow the approved protocol, research-ethics requirements, data rules, reporting standards, and microscopIA integrity procedures. Fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, undisclosed use, or inappropriate journal contact may end participation.
Authorship depends on a qualifying intellectual contribution, manuscript participation, final approval, and accountability. Membership, payment, title, or attendance alone does not confer authorship.
Background intellectual property remains with its owner. Project outputs, inventions, software, datasets, licences, publication rights, and any assignment or management authority require a separate project-specific written agreement; this general membership page does not transfer ownership.
Network membership is not employment, salary, benefits, agency, or authority to bind microscopIA unless a separate written employment or services contract expressly says so.
Work respectfully, protect participants and partners, meet agreed deadlines, disclose conflicts, use only approved systems, and seek guidance when scope or authority is uncertain.
Operational template only. Local counsel must review governing law, privacy, data processing, confidentiality, inventions, moral rights, termination, dispute resolution, and electronic-signature requirements before signature.
